holder and applicants:
Q: Can I apply for Malaysian passport online?
A:
Malaysian Passport online renewal can be done in MyONLINE PASPORT website (MyIMMs
- e-Services). Applicant must be 13 years of age and above, who has been issued
with a Malaysia Passport (passport with chip). The existing passport must be in
good condition. Application for renewal under normal circumstances only. First
time applicant and applicants whose passport are lost or damaged are not allowed
to apply online.
Q: What are the forms and documents required in passport application process?
A:
For first time applicant, the form required is Form A - IM.42 - Pin 1/1997 and
the documents required are Identification Card (Original), Birth Certificate
(original). For renewal case, Identification Card (Original) and existing
passport are required.
Q: How long does a passport application process?
A: The passport can be issued within 1 hours for passport issuance offices and 3
working days for recipient office. Please refer to
immigration offices in this website for
further information.
Q: I have lost my passport, how to apply a replacement?
A: Application for Malaysian Passport replacement for lost or damaged case can
be submitted at any Immigration Offices in Malaysia or Malaysian Representative
Offices abroad. Check for the procedure HERE.
Q: I'm planning to submit my passport application, when is the peak period to
avoid?
A: Most of the Immigration Offices are peak on Monday, Friday, Saturday (for
selected branch only), school holidays, eve and the day after public holiday.
Q: I'm a 60 year old pensioner. Am I eligible for a half priced for passport
fee?
A: Yes, price of RM100 for 5 years for 48 pages Malaysia Passport for senior
citizens (60 years old & above) and children aged below 12 years old. Check the

Q: I have two (2) children. Can I include their particulars in my passport?
A: The new Malaysian Passport System does not allow the inclusion of children's
particulars in the parents' passport to be made. They have to apply themselves.
Q:
Can I renew my passport if it still has 7 months before expired?
A: Yes, you can renew your passport. The remaining period (maximum limit of 6
months only) in the old passport will be included in the new passport with the
following conditions:
· Not a lost/damaged case
· Not cases under investigation
